Narelle is a funeral director at Mandurah. She’s always had a passion for organising functions in one way or another. Before becoming a funeral director in 2009, Narelle managed a party hire business, specialising in weddings. Narelle says, “going from parties and weddings, this felt natural – organising another special celebration for the families we serve”.
Narelle thinks her team is what makes Purslowe and Chipper Funerals special. “We have an experienced team that we can call upon to make sure we are offering the best service to families. With the diverse range of cultures in our community, it’s important we are familiar with all customs and cultures.”
She feels privileged to be involved in such an important moment in the lives of families. “Being trusted with such an important role for a family is an honour and this is not lost on our team.” “I live, work and volunteer in the community and I love it when I see someone I have assisted and can catch up and see how they are going later down the track. Being there to guide someone when they are at such an uncertain time gives me great satisfaction, knowing I was able to make a difference."
